Instructor Feedback - Individual Post Design

I go through each of the blog posts that came in on time today with both individual and general critiques. Watch this so you will know how to revise the design of your blog post. You may wish to click through and watch this on YouTube where you can speed it up and see it at a better resolution.

I am doing a separate feedback video with a critique and suggestions for improving the video portion of your blog post.

  1. Seems like most of the issue is deciding how much content to put in which places. It's easy to bog people down in too much, but in the effort to be brief we can starve them.

  3. Thanks for the feedback. It helped seeing an explanation of how we could all improve and see what good things other students did.

  5. I agree with Alec, it is hard to know how much is too much. I added a jump break like you mentioned in class, but there is more to the length of the content then just putting a jump break. I like the idea of having a question right before the break.

  6. After watching your video, I realized how important it is to use the "preview" feature to see what your post will really look like. I can't believe that I didn't catch how my title was appearing twice! Thank you for the comments on the other students blog posts. I felt that the feedback was constructive and needful. I finally understand what a jam break is!
